Discover Greece’s legendary Cyclades on a 7-day sailing adventure starting and ending in Athens. Explore iconic islands — Milos, Folegandros, Santorini, Paros (or Mykonos), and Kea — aboard modern, comfortable yachts led by experienced captains.
This trip blends island-hopping, mythology, ancient ruins, crystal-clear bays, wine tasting, historic towns, famous sunsets, beaches, and authentic Greek tavern food. Each day brings a new island, new landscapes, and the freedom of life at sea.
7-DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1 — Athens
Arrival in Athens. Instead of classical sightseeing, we visit the vibrant central market to stock up on fresh food and wine. Boarding at the marina, check-in to cabins, and begin the first sea crossing (87 NM).
DAY 2 — Milos
Morning arrival in Milos, birthplace of the Venus de Milo. Explore Tripiti village, ancient theatre ruins, temples, or the Minoan site of Phylakopi. Optional visits to natural thermal springs, including the famous Loutra Lakkou cave bath or Paleochori beach hot springs.
DAY 3 — Folegandros → Santorini
A full day at sea with a lunch stop on Folegandros. Visit its Venetian fortress (“Kastro”), lighthouse, or the Golden Cave (Chrysospilia). Enjoy a traditional tavern meal before relaxing on long beaches. By evening, arrive at spectacular white-cliffed Santorini.
DAY 4 — Santorini
Explore the world-famous island: Oia’s blue-domed panoramas, volcanic caldera views, wine tasting in a cave-museum winery, and the archaeological site of Akrotiri (“Minoan Pompeii”). Santorini’s 250 churches and vineyards offer endless charm.
DAY 5 — Sailing Day
Relax at sea, swim stops, and scenic sailing between islands.
DAY 6 — Paros or Mykonos
Paros: Visit ancient marble sites, the Temples of Apollo and Artemis, the 15th-century Agia Triada church, and the oldest Christian shrine in Greece — Panagia Ekatontapyliani. Enjoy Kolymbithres’ natural granite sculptures and the Valley of Butterflies (Petaloudes).
Or Mykonos: Option to visit Greece’s most glamorous nightlife island with iconic windmills and beach clubs.
DAY 7 — Kea → Athens
Discover Kea’s ancient lion sculpture, historic windmills, and local wine and honey tradition. Optionally learn about the Britannic shipwreck (Titanic’s sister ship), located nearby. Final swim stop under the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion before returning to Athens. Trip ends.
